Post GMTK and future updates


It's been quite a week for our developers in the game jam.  We've had moments to grow and learn. For me, this is the first game jam and the first full game created from scratch.  New tricks were discovered and utilized. If you have time to play Quantum Shift and wish to let me know more, I have included a link to the questionnaire in this update.

We didn't make the mark, but my goal was to be in the top 3,000 of the 7,639 entries. Even though overall we were close; we did hit the mark in one category.  Hope to see you guys when we post updates in post jam jam

Patch Notes

Bug Fixes

  • Corrected collisions preventing players from moving in specific locations or tiles
  • Corrected small zone sections to remove the ability to revert to the large model in a small zone
  • Corrected issues with Training stage not working like in game area.

Changes

  • Modified player movement and gravity mechanics
  • updated underground spikes with a new marking to allow players to know where spikes are to navigate with ease.
